Wedding of Amanda & Joad- 30 August 2008

This weekend we travelled to Orange for Amanda and Joad's vineyard wedding.

This was the first time we have travelled to Orange and we were surprised at what a lovely town it was. 

We stayed overnight at the vineyard and it was very picturesque.

Orange is usually very cold and for this reason the ceremony was to be held inside - lucky, as it ended up raining on the day. 

We still got some great shots (I warn you there are quite a few) ...

Hawkesbury Wedding Expo - August 24 2008

This was our first expo and we weren't sure what to expect. As it turned out both Ben and I were continuously talking to people for the duration of the expo and we were impressed with the turn out. If anyone spoke with us on the day and has anymore questions - please don't hesitate to contact us. 

We also ran a competition on the day for a free Engagement or Portrait session. 

We would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Melissa and Jason who were the winners.

An Afternoon at Penrith Weir

I'm making an effort to include more on the blog, so here are a few shots of a local spot in Penrith - the Nepean Weir. 

We are actually photographing a wedding here in April next year - it will be a gorgeous wedding.

On this occasion, it was a great spot to take the dog for a walk and as usual our daughter Ijada was our model - oh and not to forget Shadow the dog!

Portrait Shoot on Location

Another great portrait shoot on location.

Ben and I met up with an old school friend of mine, her sister and sister's children and her friend and her daughter.

We were so surprised when we arrived on location to find some amazing photo opportunities...

There was an orange tree, an old wooden fence, some lovely long grass that lit up beautifully in the sunlight and of course a PONY!
