Valley of the Iguanodon

Ok... last week I was looking for the picture Ben had worked on in photoshop (a very old version mind you.) He combined photo's of Ijada and her cousins with an older photo he had on file - hey, instead of trying to describe it - I will just show you...

I love it!!

I think this could lead to some pretty amazing shots.

I'm thinking 'Honey I shrunk the kids" type combinations - people the size of ants and all other sorts of bugs. You could be chased by all kinds of things or you could be just hanging out with your pet mouse in his cage or maybe sitting on the perch next to your pet bird.

The possibilities are endless.

The Green Bike

So, in my search for Ben's photo manipulation of a lizard he combined with a portrait shoot of our daughter Ijada and her cousins (which I am still searching for) I have found this other clever photo he took of the kids. His brother Joe also features in the shot and Ben is in the green shirt.
The bike also makes a few appearances on it's own in this image - it's kind of like a 'where's wally' but with a green bike.
I love this idea and I'm sure Ben would love the chance to get creative again - this could be a great angle for a family portrait shoot.

Father's Day 2008 - Nepean River

We decided to spend our father's day this year down by the Nepean River - it had been a while since we'd had a picnic, so we thought we were due.
I've added some shots from our afternoon.

It's a gorgeous spot down there especially for a portrait shoot.
There's plenty of great area's to keep all the photo's interesting.

With the weather warming up it's a perfect time to get outside and have some family portraits taken.
Perhaps you have a favourite park or a gorgeous back yard.

This is a great shot that Ben got of a huge skink that was sunny himself on a rock.

Stay tuned for some photoshop manuipulation... Ben is planning on transforming this shot into a fun portrait shot where Ijada will be riding on the lizard's back.
He's done something similar before but I will need to track down that photo and post it in the next couple of days.
