Portrait: Willow + Alana + Hans

Oh my goodness!!! This was such a fantastic photo shoot!

So you may know by now that I love to photograph portraits outdoors and especially in the afternoon light. However due to a lot of rain in the previous weeks and a clear morning we decided to head out early and capture the light while it was still there.

Just take a look at the fantastic images we captured and this was all in an hour or so.

An Afternoon with Georgia, Luka and Ange

A couple of hours with these two gorgeous children and look at the amazing shots we got.
Little Georgia is just adorable and she loves being in front of the camera. I can't wait to get more shots of Luka, who is only 8 weeks old, once he's sitting up on his own and then walking... fingers crossed - he'll love the camera just as much as his sister.

Ange + Georgia

Ange is a close friend of mine who is about to give birth to her second child.
We decided to do a portrait session which captured a "morning in the life" with her daughter, Georgia.

So first we had to capture pictures of the belly...

Then the getting ready...

We stopped by a cafe and had a delicious morning tea...

And then we went to a gorgeous garden...

Finally, we found ourselves at a lookout in the rain...

and then we raced home to get warm :)

It was a lovely day and I can't wait to take some photographs of the new addition to the family when he or she arrives.

Valley of the Iguanodon

Ok... last week I was looking for the picture Ben had worked on in photoshop (a very old version mind you.) He combined photo's of Ijada and her cousins with an older photo he had on file - hey, instead of trying to describe it - I will just show you...

I love it!!

I think this could lead to some pretty amazing shots.

I'm thinking 'Honey I shrunk the kids" type combinations - people the size of ants and all other sorts of bugs. You could be chased by all kinds of things or you could be just hanging out with your pet mouse in his cage or maybe sitting on the perch next to your pet bird.

The possibilities are endless.
